There’s a new wave of collaboration rippling across continents and it’s meeting at the crossroads of South Africa and Canada. In a defining cultural exchange, Cape Town-born rapper K.Keed has joined forces with Canadian artist Connor Price on his debut full-length album, About Time.
K.Keed announced the collaboration through a video she shared on Instagram, where she delivered her verse from the song Look What I Did, the same track now featured on Connor Price’s album. Her post was accompanied by a message of gratitude, “New verse for @connorprice album About Time which is out now. Song is called Look What I Did. Thank you once again for trusting me my dawg, I’m honoured to be featured amongst stars like Big Sean, Idris Elba, etc Go run it!” She wrote. The clip, which quickly made rounds online, captures her delivering sharp, rhythmic verses that mirror the confidence and lyricism she’s become known for.
The About Time project, was released on the 26 September 2025, which featured 16 tracks and an impressive lineup of international names, including Big Sean, Idris Elba, Nic D, Haviah Mighty and Hoodie Allen.
The track itself carries the precision and structure of Connor Price’s sound, with K.Keed stepping in to add her distinct Southern African cadence. The result is a seamless pairing Connor Price’s melodic control balanced by K.Keed’s self-assured tone and effortless delivery. The collaboration underscores the power of cross-border creativity in modern hip hop, where artists can blend styles, cultures and stories without any boundaries.
Their renewed collaboration on About Time brings that chemistry full circle, marking another step forward for South African talent on the world stage. The song is currently available on Spotify and YouTube, where it continues to attract attention for its dynamic back-and-forth between the two artists.
K.Keed’s inclusion on About Time represents more than a milestone but it’s an expansion of reach, a reinforcement of presence and a testament to the growing global influence of South African hip hop. With her latest feature, she stands firmly among the ranks of those reshaping the sound of international rap, one verse at a time.
