June Music Video's That You Should Watch

June was a very musical month and some of the artists blessed their fans/supporters with the surprise music video releases. There has been a lot of song and project drops this year but not enough music video releases.

Today I take you through the music videos that were released in June, that you should be watching right now!

Skolleywood - 'Disrespectful freestyle'

The new wave trapstar Bophelo Tseki professionally known as Skolleywood released her second music video following her "Giddy Up!" debut in 2020.

Wordz Tha Prince - 'MONNA KE SELEPE'

Following the release of his debut album, "Product Of A Praying Mother" in November of 2021, Wordz Tha Prince released a music video titled, "MONNA KE SELEPE".

Ntate Stunna - 'Basadi Ba Batho'

Ntate Stunna makes up for the album delay with the release of a new single accompanied with a visual representation called, "Basadi Ba Batho".

YungrkiddReezy - 'Vomit'

The new wave continues to grow bigger and the music is sounding real nice again. Rising talent, YungrkiddReezy released the music video for his HIT, "VOMIT".

BeloSalo - 'treachery interlude'

Belo Salo shared the official visual representation for his song, "treachery interlude" produced by SorryZeke that is heard on track 3 on "cold emPress" EP.

Redacted Nation - 'Egyptian Silk'

Imbued in the spirit of Afro-Luxury, Redacted Music Group present their new music video for 'Egyptian Silk' off the critically acclaimed album Security Clearance.

S B X - 'Why?'

Taken off her latest EP "These Songs Are About You Too", S B X releases her brand new music video for her most streamed song on the EP, "Why?"

Khenji - 'Who Said It Better'

On “Who Said It Better”, Khenji uses creative word play and a unique rap style to express how he is in control of his own fate, and how growing up in the township has never been a issue to him , instead it helped him to become the great artist / leader inspiring others around the community to work hard and follow your dreams.

Eddie Soul - 'We Outside' ft. Simple T & PRODIIGY

Eddie Soul shared the official music video for one of his catchiest songs titled, 'OUTSIDE'.

Khanyisile Qha - 'ICU'

Khanyisile finds herself surrounded by so many people but pretentious intent. She endures difficulties for trust anyone, whether it’s men or women as they appeal as sheep in wolf’s skin.

Suffix - 'Story' ft. Classick

A song about survival, trials and tribulations, as related to the theme of the project the video comes out a year after the official album drop and moments after the Gospel rapper got recognized and awarded for "Africa Base Artist of The Year" in the Rapzilla 2021 Awards.

S B X - 'Dues'

The new video is a double-edged follow-up to the first radio single "Out in Fairland" and the headlining track "Why", both off her latest EP, "These Songs Are About You Too". The two tracks are akin in retrospect of S B X's love story which we've watched unfold.

Domani - 'friends' ft. Nasty C

The Atlanta based rapper, Domani teams up with Nasty C in South Africa to premiere a new visual representation for his latest single, “Friends”, off of his album “Skydive”.

Jillz & Benny Chill - 'African Boujee'

The music video comes as a first from the two young pioneering artists since coming together for their long new collaborative project, "Waterbreak 2" last year in August.

YoungstaCpt - 'Dagga'

The Cape hero, YoungstaCPT delivers yet another visual representation for a single off his latest "Dreams Don't Pay Bills" album.

031Choppa - 'We Sisi'

In May, KwaMashu rapper, producer and singer-songwriter 031Choppa released his EP, "Shake Azul" which is indeed a refreshing listen from track one. A month later he released his Clout Cassette produced music video for "We Sisi".

Blaklez & PdotO - 'Alive' ft. Jay Jody

High octane music from Pretoria, South Africa. Blaklez and Pdot O aka the Lost Diamonds team up with Jay Jody in a showcase of high-powered lyrics, flows and cadence reminiscent of late 90s/2000s hip hop for their latest single, "Alive". 

Ras - 'Indoda Ayikhali' ft. Just Bheki

‘Indoda Ayikhali’ is a melodic humming- led hip-hop song with lyrics just as emotional and deep as the isiZulu chorus brought to life by the sensational vocalist, Just Bheki.

DJ Kaymoworld - "AsiKhuzeki" Ft. Sizwe Alakine , Bontle Smith & Reason

With a combination of various South African sounds including Amapiano fused with Kwaito and Hip-hop, DJ Kaymoworld's “ASIKHUZEKI “ song delivers a unique and authentic local sound and flavour.

Hitpapa - Bondage' ft. Scooby Nero

In this afro-rap song HITPAPA speaks about how the entertainment industry haven’t had a new comer with the hunger and passion he has been displaying and delivering since he emerged into the music scene.

Nyota Parker - 'In My Head' ft. Zmny

With Congolese-Irish-South African heritage, Nyota Parker's unique, eclectic and rebellious style of music draws influences from Rap/Hip Hop, Jazz, Trap, Soul and more into a fusion she calls "Trazz".

Landrose - "Excuse Me' ft Sizwe Alakine & Nator BeatZ

Directed by Khwezi Morningstar and Street Carnivore, it looks like both these artists are still stuck in their quarantine social distancing habits as they go back and forth with their verses on an Instagram live video on this "Excuse Me" music video.

Yung Nasa - 'Know My Name' ft. J. Molley

Expressing a cool mix of new aged  rock  and hip-hop music, Never Broke singer-songwriter Yung Nasa has released the music video for his punk rock single, "Know My Name" featuring J Molley taken off his current album, Not Cool Never Was'.
