By @tabloydza on 01/07/2022 in Watch

Thembisa's Golden Boy, Touchline gifted his fans with a Christmas present in the form of another heartfelt release titled, A South African Christmas. Which served as a follow up single from, I'll Always Have Me. Touchline opens the song with a tribute to the late Killa Kau and Mpura,

'Ngicela... sihlabe imbuzi for Mpura,

and kill a cow for Killa Kau,

angels live forever, that's how I know they with us now'

The word smith then goes on to speak about life and some of it's challenges. Depicting a sad reality for many as Christmas is a day where we meant to be rejoicing with our families but the burden's covid has left us has not only claimed some family members and income but our Christmas spirit too.

'I'm supposed to say Merry Christmas,

hard to celebrate, when tryna revive our dead ambitions'

Raw, emotive driven lyrics delivered with full intent to touch you with every line - Touchline is rapidly solidifying his place as the voice of the people. Check the single out below;
