I feel like Thando was dragging me because I was guilty of doing this yesterday but let's focus on the music. 'Drunk Dialing' will be her first release since her SAMA nominated debut EP, 'A Force To Be Reckoned With'. Thando is an amazing singer but I was really impressed with her songwriting. She managed to paint a picture of her current situation through clever wordplay like when she said, "What happened to the promises? You better lookout for your pinky". Thando delivered really catchy flows whilst still delivering a good vocal performance and it gives the song the right amount of emotion without coming off as overly emotional or cliche. I can't wait to hear her upcoming EP, 'Alive Again'.
