Johannesburg artist, Linty Lionardo hops on the block with a searing new single titled ‘Bomba’.
The hard-hitting track fuses the bounce of Amapiano with the raw edge of Drill. ‘Bomba’ inspires listeners to hustle through the cold, whether it's pushing through tough weather, economic challenges, or emotional lows.
The Bomba jacket, a staple on township streets, became a symbol for staying warm and moving forward.
Rooted in Ennerdale, a small coloured township in the south of Johannesburg, Linty bridges township dance music and Hip-Hop's lyricism, all with the authentic flavour of Johannesburg coloured slang in his lyrics.
‘Bomba’ breaks boundaries, proving that local styles and language can move together and create something new.
