@ItsPriddyUgly Wants All The Smoke On New 'Handful Of Dust' Music Video

Determined to bring rap culture back in South African hip-hop, Priddy Ugly has dropped his brand new album 'Soil' that has the people talking...

The album dropped at midnight and fans have been gong ballistic since then, the song 'Handful Of Dust' seen as track 9 on the album is the most talked about song on the album - reason being, that Priddy Ugly came for all the smoke, calling out rappers with his chest. Fans/supporters conclude that A-Reece was the main target as it is heard in his opening lines;

"Man, rappers in a cocky place / Not the one who's turning 'to Hibachi steak / Lost his taste, now your favourite rapper probably dropping plates / You copy paste"

Now, of course this line got fans worked up because those first three bars are a deliberate message to A-Reece, as he has a song titled 'Hibachi' on his 'Today's Tragedy, Tomorrow's Memory' mixtape that he dropped in March 2021. His opening lines were;

"Yo, my shit don't fit the same, I'm gainin' body weight / 'Cause I was on a beef diet, turnin' rappers to Hibachi steak".

Interesting approach and this could mean something refreshing for the hip-hop space - bringing rap battle culture back! There more lines aimed at other rappers as heard on the song with the likes of Shane Eagle, Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest. Another interesting line being;

"Rap butcher, & your girl admit that I'm packing meat / I've been going ham / You follow lamb, you should ask the sheep / Looking for the Goat? / Then you should ask for me"

This line intentionally responds to A-Reece's verse on Joey Fatt's latest single 'Where You At', where he said;

"You treat the game like it's your mama house / Since every rapper is the goat, I treat the game like it's a slaughterhouse / Anybody can get it like it's on the house"
