Oi! Rouge has been relatively quite on the scene for the past few months, that is in terms of music of course, and that's owed to the fact that she has been working on her debut album New Era Sessions. Just about a few weeks away from its arrival (September) she shares an intriguing trailer for it with a song possibly titled Dejavu synced to the visual.
The trailer walks us through what looks like multiple phases of Rouge's journey on the album. Her project is made into a book with the same title, she being the author, but in other scenes she's a star and seemingly a therapy patient having "sessions" with her doctor played by Atandwa Kani. I'm hoping that the many cutaways are part of numerous visuals on the album particularly since they have different tones to them, like the dancers in the light of day versus the characters in a dark lit room with fluorescent lights and a spotlight. Marvelous trailer. We want more!
