Tems’ appearance on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert is in celebration of Black History Month. The all-women lineup includes artists such as Tierra Whack, Flo Milli, SWV, and many more to give women their flowers.
Dressed in a blue dress with the band behind her in all black, her performance gave off an ethereal vibe. She kicked it off with the song 'Me & You’, one of her most successful songs and followed it up with 'Ice T' from her debut EP, 'For Broken Ears'.
Her tone carried the performance which was enhanced by the amazing choir harmonising her notes. Tems blended well with the band allowing her to perform new songs that have been unreleased like 'Forever’.
