In November last year, a viral clip surfaced showing Beyoncé using Uncle Waffles’ multi-platinum single, ‘Tanzania’ for a performance during the first night of her Renaissance World Tour.
In a recent video, Uncle Waffles is seen reacting to the clip of Beyonce’s dancers dancing to a sample of the hit single in Beyonce’s film, ‘Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce’ which aired earlier this year.
She shared an emotional, heartfelt Instagram story captioned, “I didn’t think I’d cry but to have my song be featured in Renaissance movie and tour having B’s team reach out to me to let me know to have my idol since I was 5 recognising me in anyway… God.”
