Shane Eagle has dropped his much-anticipated album tagged, ‘AKiRA’ today.
The SA rapper returns to the game in his new form with the name of the album ‘AKiRA’ borrowed from the creator of the Dragon Ball anime series Akira Toriyama.
Introducing the album with ’SHiRU’S iNTERLUDE’ Shane Eagle becomes a bright, clear and ideal light through the darkness that so many people face.
Referencing Napolcon Hill in the intro to the album “I thought and grew rich and reaped everything I sowed,” Eagle is not only practicing success habits- but is also exchanging these principles with his listeners and fan base.
Resembling a character out of Dr. Charles Xavier's school for mutants, the artwork represents Eagle's next form which is uncanny, unpredictable and incredibly gifted.
In curating this fusion anime, comic books, basketball, literature, under Afro-Surrealist themes, we all anticipate what the rest of the album sounds like.
