South African Tech and Sgija duo, TNK MusiQ, has finally released their latest project ‘Le Premier Chapitre,’ today.
This eagerly awaited 7-track EP follows the successful release of two singles, ‘Hayi Baleka’ and ‘Saka.’
When asked about the inspiration behind the EP's title, TNK MusiQ explained, "Basically, Le Premier Chapitre is 'The First Chapter' in English. Our sound is known for being aligned with the country France, so we wanted to change 'The First Chapter' into French because of the connection. It’s the First Offering to our fans, so we had to call it Le Premier Chapitre."
The EP is a diverse compilation of new songs and tracks crafted last year, blending fast-paced groovy jams with tunes perfect for those laid-back moments with family and friends.
TNK MusiQ's signature fusion of Tech and Sgija ensures that 'Le Premier Chapitre' offers something for everyone and is not confined to a single sound. This project features collaborations with renowned artists such as Dj Maphorisa, DBN Gogo, Daliwonga, Chley, Tman Xpress, Leon Lee, W4DE and Malume.Hypeman.
TNK MusiQ shared, "All these people made the journey of creating this EP a joy. We've never had a dull moment in the studio, and we'll forever be grateful for them taking their time to make music with us."
