Watch Tyson Sybateli Break Down His New Mixtape ‘Present.’ On The Sobering Podcast

In this week’s episode of The Sobering Podcast, the Sober Soldiers host Tyson Sybateli and discuss his new mixtape, ‘Present.’ Which they are the hosts of. The conversation took place in Braam last Thursday, during the listening session. 

Tyson takes the hosts go through the whole mixtape with some of the guest features on the tape such as Thato Saul and Priddy Ugly. 

But to kick start the conversation, the hosts ask Tyson how the mixtape came about since mixtapes were a thing of the past, however, he brought them back with a twist and has a podcast hosting it. 

“So back then, the culture was always guided by what the DJ was playing,” Tyson said. “Now, we are in the era where people who are super strong in the culture and the media are podcasts, and podcasts guide and they dictate certain pop culture topics. They lead where the conversation hits.”
