Uncle Waffles has unveiled an official music video for her latest project, ‘Solace’.
‘Solace’ sees Uncle Waffles lean into private school Amapiano which comprises more soulful and heavily vocalised songs.
The songs that make up ‘Solace’ contrast the up-tempo Amapiano that make up her project, ‘Asylum’. This is also seen in the visuals depicted for both projects. The music video for ‘Asylum’ is vibrant, captivating and dance filled whereas the visuals for ‘Solace’ are more soothing, graceful, and calming.
The music video for ‘Solace’ evokes a feeling of peace and happiness, which is what Uncle Waffles describes the project to be.
“Solace is a representation of the grace that followed me and gave me so much peace and happiness. A mirror into how beautiful this journey continues to be, the blessings within this journey”, she stated.
The music video showcases outstanding vocal performances for the songs ‘Echoes’ featuring Manana and Lusanada, ‘Peace And Happiness’ featuring Jandas and Vuyo and ‘Khumbula’ featuring Sino Msolo and MaWhoo.
