It appears, A-Reece did record his contribution for ‘Mass Country’, specifically the song ‘Sponono’, according to Revenge Club Records member TKay, the label’s in-house engineer. This morning, he shared a screenshot of the folder containing the recording.
“I know The Boy ain’t never gonna talk about it,” he tweeted. “And nobody from AKA’s [camp] reached out for the stems,” he said, and after, drew attention to the recording’s date, 19 November 2022. ‘Mass Country’ was released three months later in February 2023.
A-Reece took a lot of flack from fans on Twitter when ‘Mass Country’ dropped as it was assumed that his absence on the album was as a result of him being unresponsive which he is infamous for.
‘Sponono’, which features Sjava, Baby S.O.N and 031 Choppa, is the latest radio single for ‘Mass Country’.
Hopefully, AKA’s team will include the Reece version of ‘Sponono’ in the upcoming ‘Mass County Deluxe’.
