We visited Costa Titch's hometown, Nelspruit in 2020 with the Smirnoff family to shoot an intimate documentary, exploring his journey as an artist and a dancer. He spoke about moving from Mpumalanga to Joburg to establish an opportunity to grow through his relationship with late rapper Tumi Tladi and the rest of the dance crew.
He talks about releasing his Phantom Steeze and Alfakat-featuring debut single, 'Activate' as an independent artist in 2017. The song went on to create a buzz around Costa's name especially after dropping the music video which went on to be played on Channel O and MTV Base.
By the time of his untimely passing, Costa Titch had become the superstar he envisioned he would be.
