DJ Le Soul has finally graced with new music this month that touches the soul. The 13 Track album features the likes of Simmy, Nkosazana Daughter and Stilo Magolide. The album taps into a variety of moods by infusing electronic and and organic sounds. She collaborated with the likes of Lemon & Herb and Da Capo just to name a few to give the project the depth it needed.
I happened to bump into this project last week when I was exploring new music on the Apple Music. I was in shock when I saw that she released an album as I didn't expect this drop. I then went on to listen to the artistic project and I was mind blown by how it has been curated as each piece just somehow touches the spirit. You are welcomed by an african sound intro that promotes African spirituality with a hard drum beating throughout the bass.
This is a must listen album as it stands out fully and showcases a unique sound within the South African market.
