@Nasty_CSA Delivers 'On The Radar' Radio Freestyle

By @OfentsePhukubye on 11/10/2022 in Watch

Representing South Africa is Multi-Award winning artist, Nasty C as he made an appearance on New York online platform 'On The Radar Radio'. The platform showcases numerous artists of which they deliver on freestyles and sit down interviews. They have featured the likes of Bobby Schmurda, Chase Shakur, Tems and King Combs just to name a few.

This time they brought us an episode featuring our very own Nasty C as he rapped over 'Super Gremlin' by Kodak Black. The bar filled freestyle touches on Nasty C's journey as an artist from being an upcoming artist trying to build in Durban to finally getting his big break, even after that many people still continued to doubt him but he continued to persevere as their opinions never really mattered. He understood the mission and of course was and still is passion driven hence the numerous achievements. Even the line '...First I got slept on then I got a bag like your boy get sat on...' speaks volumes of how life can seemingly change if you apply yourself into the work you do without high expectations, life can definitely have a twist especially when the intentions are pure.

This freestyle for me is the best freestyle I have heard so far as there is major substance in every line he says. It is a freestyle that many fans in South Africa and Africa as a whole can understand as it is a journey that many walk without even realising. He has changed many lives through his hard work from sharing various opportunities with the people he started with back home to also grooming new people simply by the way he moves and he continues to inspire many to go out there and get what is theirs as the world does not owe anyone anything.

Also in numerous cases people will always have a lot to say whether its good or bad but that should not be a factor to you not striving for your dreams. Hence, he even starts off with the line 'I have got haters to sh*t on...'. What he is trying to say is 'You are your own competition' so do not compete with anyone else but yourself because when you do that you start to shine and essentially outshine those that are trying to block you from making it and even speaking bad about you with the aim to push your name down in the mud but the thing that they forget is that if you are destined and built for greatness, you will make it out of that blocking point bigger and stronger so do not get demotivated by the opinions of those that do not know your story like you do.

Also be careful of whom you let around you as sometimes we can let people within our personal space only for them to have bad intentions and it is unfortunately a part of life that we all have to experience as betrayal leads to growth and awareness of our surroundings if of course taken in the right way. These are the things I was able to take in from the freestyle as it is more than just rap lines.

I hope many are able to grasp the transpired message in the most raw form possible and that they are able to utilise on it within their path. Congratulations are pouring down to his team as they continue to work overtime as they surprise us each week with new content and announcements.
