Ashendo is a new African music streaming platform, set to launch soon. It is a platform that is 'Created by Africans for Africa'. So they thought the best way to launch was to put music by our own artists. The aim is to compete with the likes of Spotify, Apple Music one day but we starting this story here at home before we go to the world.
They currently have a Call of Action to all artists in Africa to submit their music via email so that it can be featured on the platform.
Ashendo isn't genre specific, Ashendo is music. The group has a dream and plan to house all African music on the streaming platform. The authenticity of a tree dwells from the roots and this streaming platform marks the first opening of that seed. This application plans to not only to promote African music but to distribute it to the world at the highest level.
