They are featured in K.O’s mega hit ‘SETE’ and have appeared on several songs – ‘Tholakuwe’ and ‘Bula Boot’ – together, but did you know Young Stunna and Blxckie recorded a 7-track joint EP that’s still chilling in the vault?
“If we take it out, y’all should [push] your releases back,” Young Stunna said in our recent sit-down with him.
“We worked with Herc [Cut The Lights],” he added. “I think he’s gonna put some of it in his album.”
“That was my dream. I’ve always wanted to make a project with uSihle because he’s one of my favourite Hip-Hop artists, he’s top 3 on the list.
“When he said, ‘boyzin, we can actually make more songs,’ and he invited me to his home, welcomed me. Such a good person that’s why we became close friends.
“He taught me a lot,” Young Stunna said.
Both artists are serious songwriters and have rare versatility — they can rap and sing over a wide variance of beats. This sure does sound like an interesting project. The questions, when are they dropping?
