@sandrahhh__ Releases Her First EP Of The Year Titled, 'Eating Good'

By @OfentsePhukubye on 10/07/2022 in Projects You Should Hear

Sandrahhh finally releases her first body of work for the year with the FTL Radio stable and honestly speaking it is worth your time as she took a different approach to storytelling. The Hip-Hop project touches on a variety of sounds within the Hip-Hop genre.

She defines "EATING GOOD" as a hip-hop/rap audio-visual reflection of sandrahhh and the FTL Radio Team's dedication to excellence and personal development in the most animated and cinematic ways possible.

A proclamation that it is indeed time for them all to enjoy the fruits they've reaped from their labour of love when it comes to music and their individual efforts as everyday people.

It is an intentional passion project between her and label head/main producer at FTL Radio, nash.

Their aim was not to overthink anything and deliver a solid project built on their unique finesse alongside a handful of some of their favourite local creatives within the music industry.

The 7 Track project showcases Sandrahhh's rapping skills as this is mainly heard in her verse for 'mob mentality'. I loved her rhyme scheme and word play in this track. My other favourite single is 'surprise, surprise!' as it flows so nicely and reminds me of the times of Jaden Smith in his 'Cool Tapes' mixtape era. The beat selection still has my jaw dropped as the beats allow for the artist and the featured to tell a story of being 'youthful' and believing the feelings of 'happiness' and 'love' as we all have it instilled within us.

Do enjoy the project below:
