Rapper, producer and visual artist Yung Tyran wraps up the month of August with a brand new body of work.
The rapper comes off ballsy and confident on this newly released 7-tracker album titled, 'Look What It's Come To'. 'LWICT' comes after the surprise release of his 4-tracker EP 'Don't Try Understand It Feel It' of June 2022. Yung Tyran is very direct on this project and does no subliminal but rather boldly calling out and addressing rappers such as Priddy Ugly - This follows after a heated tweet feud that happened on Twitter a couple of weeks ago.
"Priddy Ugly no offense / you the last man to be giving me coordinates / as a fellow castaway / at least Tom Hanks had a cabinet of accolades..."
Yung Tyran collaborates with his friend and musician, J Flo once again on 'Champions Parade' where both rappers are sharing infectious raps and flows. Die Mondez and Darse Mayne appear on 'Look What It's Come To' with songs already released as singles - 'Yesssir' and 'Nothing To Tell'.
In closing to the album, Yung Tyran returns to his introspective self once again (his comfort zone) where he gets to offload everything off his chest on 'Cross Roads'. This is definitely my favourite side to the rapper as he has plenty of quotables and is very direct with his choice of words and his approach.
"Thank you to the opps for always bringing out the best in me / this ain't a song, it's like a thank you speech / to all the people that I f*** with, that ain't f*** with me / tables turn now you're the one that doesn't have a seat..."
