XXC Legacy is an artist I've known about for a couple of years but admittedly, I haven't been following her career closely and 'Runaway' is my reintroduction to her music. I must say that I'm pretty impressed by this single. XXC Legacy's performance on the song has hints of old school R&B which suits the warm and rhythmic neo R&B production. Her delivery is smooth & laid back which makes 'Runaway' the type of song that you want to listen to on repeat. Moozlie's presence on 'Runaway' gives the song a nice balance because every neo R&B song needs a good rap verse to bring it all together. Stream 'Runaway' below.
