@GoByTOM's 'Road To...' EP Is Special

When I first heard Tom Saison's 'No Way' with Naye Ayla, my ears kind of propped up because I knew that he was something special and I'm happy to report that I was right. Tom Saison is an artist that a high level of maturity and he has a knack for understanding how to design a song. I'm sure you heard the saying 'just because he is a good rapper, doesn't mean he can make a good song'. The same thing can be said about singers. Oftentimes artists who have amazing vocals fall into the trap of belting the listener the death. Let me elaborate. The song 'LWBH(Living With a Broken Heart)' is a stripped-down intro where Tom Saison flexes his vocal ability but he still manages to deliver his vocals in a way that keeps the listener interested. His delivery and use of backing vocals make the song feel spiritual. It took the song from being a ballad that proves he can sing, to a song that I could recommend to people because it is so much more than that. Tom Saison's ear for melodies shines throughout the EP and gives 'Road To..' that special something. It's like he uses his backing vocals as a part of the production and creates a listening experience that I can uniquely identify Tom Saison's music with. I knew Tom Saison's 'Road To..' EP would be something I enjoyed but I didn't think it would be this special. Whether Tom Saison is making a ballad or a pop-infused single like 'Run Away', you are guaranteed to enjoy the listen.
