Multi-talented artist, Sishii, dropped his single pack 'Before Slakes' which has a slightly more serious tone than his previous offering 'Sincerely Yours'. 'Before Slakes' opens with 'Moonlight', which has a pop feel to it and carries real single quality. What I enjoy most about this song is how Sishii played with different deliveries, including singing in a higher register for the chorus. The verse saw him come through with well thought out flows and that brought the song together well. 'The Valley' and 'Saint Lucia' see Sishii get in touch with his soulful side which he seems to enjoy. I really like how he honed in on his backup vocals because it complements the tone of the two songs. I think that the slower and more soulful direction Sishii took with this single pack was a great decision because it give his voice more of an opportunity to shine. Stream 'Before Slakes' below.
