@Kuuulz's Self Titled Instrumental EP Is A Must Listen

By @Lesiba on 08/23/2021 in Projects You Should Hear

Kuuulz's self-titled EP has a run time of 7 minutes and it is absolutely worth the time. The 3 track EP is something that's pretty difficult to describe but it's a unique blend of music. The opening song 'Pinknotes' feels like something you would hear on a LoFi playlist on YouTube. It has this relaxing and kind of hypnotic feel to it because of the way it's constructed. Kuuulz switches gears with the second track on the EP titled 'Strangehawks'. This is my favourite of the 3 tracks because of the bass-centric sound. It has the right amount of intensity whilst still maintaining a laid back vibe. Kuuulz closes of the EP with 'Lovesupreme', which has a sort of Jazz feel to it but it stays true to the soundscape we were introduced to in the opening 2 songs. I don't quite know where to place Kuuulz and his unique sound but I can confirm that I love it. Stream 'Kuuulz (Ep)' below.
