The year was 2019 and I was listening aifheli's 'c[old] he[art]' and I was blown away at how great the song was. I hadn't and still haven't, heard of an artist like aifheli before. He was unapologetically alternative and true to himself and it was extremely refreshing to hear something different to the new wave, which was dominating SoundCloud at the time. So I'm extremely happy to be writing about aifheli in 2021 because he is a real talent. 'Tied (Remixes)' runs 25 minutes long and has features from DoouShii, Oshoku, Jinji, Yolophonik, Fa X Fu, and MHMMD. I know, it's quite the lineup. 'Tied (Remixes)' see all the aforementioned producers flip aifheli's 'tied' which was released in 2020. He announced on Twitter that he'd be releasing a tape soon and I feel like this would be a great way to introduce yourself to aifheli. Stream 'Tied (Remixes)' below.
