Nigerian singer, songwriter and self-taught record producer, Temilade Openiyi mononymously known as Tems is having a sweet musical come up. After taking the industry by storm with her debut single 'Try Me' in 2019, which was followed up by her 'Damages' single ahead of her debut EP 'For Broken Ears' in the year 2020, Tems scored a feature (which she totally owned) on the most popular song on Wizkid's 'Made In Lagos' album titled, 'Essence'. 

The song, 'Essence' received a visual representation in April 2021 and is currently sitting on an astonishing 13 million views. Genius (an American digital media company) shine their spotlight on the Nigerian sensation, Tems as she is given the opportunity to perform her single 'Higher' on the Open Mic platform.
