Having to put a front for the media can get exhausting and we shouldn't forget that celebrities are human too. Always lookout for your close friends that always seem happy because sometimes that is really not the case. Riky Rick recently sat down with Mac G, the host of "Podcast & Chill" for the latest episode of the podcast. In the interview Riky Rick revealed that he was really feeling the adverse effects of depression which made him decide to take a break from music in 2018. According to Riky Rick, he mentioned the following;
“Being a “celebrity”, it gets difficult to tell people I ain’t feeling well. It’s difficult to take time away because people expect you to be superhuman. I am not superhuman. I’m just another human being who wants to find some sort of peace and happiness in life. I’m sorry."
