Hip-Hop and rap music take on an upbeat nature and quality in most instances; particularly at concerts. It is for this reason that an artist taking the time to alter their set or render a performance style that we wouldn't often get is meaningful.
In this case, J Molley is the latest person to add an unplugged sessions element to his body of work. Four songs worth of music from the self-proclaimed Hood Pharmacist, namely "Sinister," "Lightning," "Shifted," and "Your Mind." In the session, he features Theofilluss as his accompanying pianist. The two of them had good chemistry on set and Molley performed his songs with a cross between alt-R&B and trappy hip-hop.
