By @Nokulunga_Maqubela on 05/14/2019 in Watch

As PdotO and Reason rapped in Under The Sun, "You got to celebrate the roses," music journalist Helen Herimbi practices this with her initiative which started out as a podcast.  With an aim to celebrate the living legends that paved the way in the music industry, Helen converses with them, later gifting them with i(m)bali, while they can smell them.

On the latest episode, Helen sits with Slikour and they go back in time from the first time he interacted with hip hop to the formation of the legendary group, Skwatta Kamp. Being a long-term pioneer of the culture, Slikour paints a clear picture of his journey in and love for hip hop. They say you don't always finish with who you started with, the man breaks down how Skwatta Kamp went from 11 members, with Mizchif being the 12th, to the group being only left with 7 members. And then there were six, he takes us through the emotions he ran through when he heard of Flabba's passing, Slikour also goes into detail in relation to Skwatta Kamp's relationship with Infadizle. And this is just the first part, watch it below:
