As we start a new year on a clean slate, it would only be right to look back and reflect on the year that was. 2018 was sure an eventful year, at one point we were celebrating the triumphs of others, from South African artists being featured on the Black Panther soundtrack, to Sjava bagging a BET award, squashed beefs, successful business partnerships, and American artists coming to the hood, and on the other hand, we found ourselves mourning the loss of South African rap legends namely, Pro, Ben Sharpa, and HHP.
