@Zoocci_CokeDope Opens 2019 With A Film Soundtrack Credit #Matwetwe

By @Spokenpriestess on 01/09/2019 in Watch

When the phrase, "hit the ground running," was termed I'm almost certain it was tailored for the hip hop community as we don't waste anytime in kicking into gear at the top of every year. Here, we have another specimen of said study to prove that we ain't playing here man. Acclaimed producer and artist, Zoocci Coke Dope shares the most exciting news announcing that he has a producer credit on the upcoming local film, Matwetwe.

Executive produced by Black Coffee and directed by Kagiso Lediga, the film is set around the Atteridgeville (Pretoria) hood where two young men go about their hustle, getting into some trouble, while ultimately trying to change the script of their lives. Zoocci Coke Dope shared a trailer with a song that has his producer tag on it signalling that he's on the boards for the tune. Oh yes please! The dealer has been spotted in studio with the likes of Una Rams and Yung Swiss most recently so there's no guessing what he could be cooking up but we're certainly here for all of it! Stay tuned to these streets for updates on his music as the year goes but for now, set your calendars for January 25th, 2019, as that is when Matwetwe will finally hit the big screen. Way to set the bar big guy!
