London based South African artist, Toya Delazy, has been pushing her latest project Uncommodified throughout the year, which means we haven't heard a lot of new material from her this year. In case you thought that meant the pop star hasn't been working on new material she decides to share an acapella freestyle she titles [Sell By Date].
The hard spit off the top of the dome sees her rap about her growth. Though she speaks on her failures in the verse like losing her job and missing her parents, the freestyle has an uplifting tone to it with her ending it off by declaring she is giving life all she's got and praying she gets her shot. From the bars, it's clear that Toya has a lot to get off her chest, hopefully, we get to hear it in her music really soon. You can peep her new freestyle below.
