Witness The Funk has been quite silent throughout the year only releasing Lowest midway through and being featured on other artist's singles prior. It seems that the silence has a good reason though as we are aware that one of the group members Moshine is currently working on a solo project and it looks like Aux Cable has been doing the same.
The rapper has just shared news of an upcoming solo album titled Analgesia and has shared a performance of one of the singles, Sinners Prayer, to give us a glimpse of what the full body of work would sound like. The song is a big step away from the trappy turned up Witness The Funk sound we have come to know. The rapper is on a more mellow, mature vibe on the track as he sings about some of the struggles he is facing, pleading for some form of intervention. The vulnerability and emotive delivery he is giving out on this tune is definitely unexpected and gives me a sense of eagerness to hear what the full body of work has to offer. He has not given a release date to the project but it should be really soon. Peep the performance below.
