Nadia Nakai comes from the successful launch of her fashion range with Sportscene's Redbat and on that note, she swiftly unleashes the second instalment of her Bragga Goes Global webseries which documents her sourcing journey ahead of the range's completion.
In this episode, she relives a racial incident that happened in the shop we saw her walk into in the previous episode while she was shopping for some inspo in a particular shop in London. I just let out a sigh after writing that because, WOW. For years on end, our people have been fighting the heavy fight of racism in all forms and to live this experience through her is yet another scenario that reminds you of the hardships that black people face the world over. It's not the prettiest of episodes, but it's important nonetheless. Shame on that lady in the store yo! Shame on you.
