Earlier this month, Mick Jenkins made the announcement of having an album on the way titled Pieces Of A Man set for release on the 26th of October. To help build anticipation for his project, the Chicago emcee released visuals for this lead single, Understood, and now drops off his collaboration with Wu-Tang Clan member, Ghostface Killah, titled Padded Locks.
Over a soulful instrumental, Mick and Ghostface trade bars and highlight the generations of hip hop they both came up in. Though Mick Jenkins was born at a time Ghostface's rap career was at its peak, it's great to hear how well he managed to stand his ground next to the Staten Island spitter.
