Every year, the BET Hip Hop Awards are held to celebrate artists' dynamic performances and their contribution to the world of hip hop. One key highlight of the night, for some people, that is, has got to be the cyphers which find a bunch of our favourite emcees coming together in various groups going head to head and putting their lyrical skills to the test.

Nick Grant and Taylor Bennett got to spit their truth alongside the talented G Herbo and the ever so controversial Vic Mensa. Backed by a production from Dj Premier laced with loud horns and his popular scratch techniques, Mensa, Bennett, and Herbo take the forefront one by one and share some of their stories while repping Chicago to the fullest. Nick Grant, who is also considered a BET veteran, later takes the stage and closes off the cypher with some memorable bars of his own, watch the clip below:
