Weezy F baby and the "f" is for fiVe.
It's been over a year since Lil Wayne's initial announcement of Tha Carter V and fans have religiously checked his social media profiles for the project to no avail. Back in July, pictures of billboards promoting the album surfaced on the internet thus creating more hype around the project and Tunechi wants to give more clarity about his album as well as share the official release date.
In a 3-minute video, the Young Money chief pulls up at his office while being followed by a cameraman as he speaks about C5. While ending claims of the album already being leaked, the rapper also reveals that Tha Carter V is set for release on his birthday, the 27th of September. We have no idea if this won't come with another push-back but we have a good feeling that he'll stay true to his word and deliver the long-awaited project.
