Yugen Blakrok's popularity has risen since her recent feature on TDE's Black Panther album a couple of months back. Not to say that she was an unknown name, but the feature did help cement her place in the South African music industry. She last had a chat on Beats 1 with Zane Lowe about her contributions to the soundtrack and recently gave more insight on Beautiful News SA (powered by Mercedes-Benz) about her love for Hip Hop. In the clip Yugen speaks about her music, being inspired by the messages in her idols' music and the need for authenticity. The video also features clips from Yugen's performances as she narrates about being proud of celebrating her heritage in the album as well as encouraging independent artists to keep pushing.
