When was the last time you heard a track from J Cole? Features don't count. The rapper recently cleared his Instagram timeline which rose suspicion of an album being on the way considering that this is something many artists have been doing for a while. Well, it looks like fans can now look forward to new music after the NBA account shared a promo video for their playoffs with an unknown Cole verse blasting in the background.

In more J Cole music news, the rapper revealed that he has a brand new album titled K.O.D set to drop this Friday, which would account for the strange purple profile pictures on his social media pages. Rap Radar's B.Dot shared different acronyms for the title after attending Cole's free show, he posted that K.O.D had three different meanings. He also shared that Cole recorded the project within two weeks and that he played it all for fans during the show.
