@Kimosabe_SA ft @ByLwansta - Live From The Basement (Lyric Video)

By @Spokenpriestess on 02/23/2018 in Watch

How talented can one family be? Kimosabe teams up with his younger brother, ByLwansta, for a sentimental audio documentary titled Live From The Basement. The song is a gripping account of how they both got into music, taking us to the very beginning when they turned a backroom in their mother's house into a recording studio. This is a story I believe many an upcoming rapper can relate to.

Kimosabe's silky vocals transport you to the genesis of their careers as you watch the lyrics on screen with visuals of them working in studio and performing at various spaces in the background. It's an emotional rollercoaster as you listen to how ByLwansta reveres his brother and praises him for teaching him the love of music. Ncaaauuuuuw! From being rejected and doubted, they gradually started making moves that eventually made their mother proud and having people gravitate towards them as their light shone brighter. These boys have so much to offer the industry and this track is just a testament to how far they've come and are still going. I am in my feels right now, I love these fellas so much. Tap into their life story squeezed into less than 4 minutes and learn the lyrics while you're at it.
