Wikid's #BoomBap16Challenge has taken on a life of its own since it was ignited some weeks ago online. We've called out rappers from as far as Namibia and Zimbabwe when we saw that it also reached Botswana. Meanwhile on the streets, the kids are having the time of their lives bashing the challenge right out the park. My favourite part about the challenge has been seeing some of the finest ladies come out to deliver impeccable clips. Although it's a 16 bar challenge, some people take it way further than that making it a 32 or even a full song. Others completely disregard the very prominent "boom bap" call to action and use new skool or trap beats. Ei, rappers and comprehension sometimes!
