It's not just a throwback, it's an exclusive one at that. Renowned producer, 37mph, has decided to let go off a previously unreleased remix to JR's crazy hit Gata Le Nna which was done 9 years ago originally with Towdee Mac on it. The track is a little rough around the edges (in my opinion) but I reckon that's because it was never polished for release after all.
The remix features an interesting plethora of artists which include Cassper Nyovest, Shugasmakx, Mr Selwyn, SFS, Ishmael and Nhlanhla. This remix would've actually been crazy should it have dropped in 2009 or even 2010 as the SA Hip Hop scene was still budding into what eventually became a takeover in 2012/13 where the rest of the country started waking up to the culture. Who has your favourite appearance here? I think I'll go with Ishmael, totally digging his flavour (or maybe that's my fandom showing). Shout out to 37mph for this blast from the past.
