Mthatha's shining star, Mikkie, drops off a new joint titled This Means War which finds him spitting with utmost vigour about his intention to take over the world. He's not one for waiting to have the door opened for him, he's finna push the door open (with or without your consent).
His appearances on our previous Underdog Day feature have my ears tuned to him. On This Means War, he kinda reminds me of the first time I heard the mastery that is Driemanskap. His Xhosa flows are so confident, precise, and aggressive at times. Ironically, he doesn't sound "angry" in comparison to being laid back as he makes his determination known on this track. He makes me so proud. Check him out and show him love won't you?
