Tommy Ills seeks to help and motivate artists on the come up, mostly independent musicians, through starting up their own EPKs (Electronic Press Kits) to build their profiles and connections. Tommy is a rapper from Cape Town who has been doing music for a while now, a recent drop being Washout. He's come to realise how problematic the industry can be for indie artists as he's part of a collective called Grime Town which is basically a group of creatives specialising in everything from media to apparel. The web series is called Everything I'm About and the first episode profiles Tommy and Grime Town, it's practically an introduction of the group and their influences. Tommy narrates the visual while he's also being interviewed as he speaks about how his crew gained influence from rappers from the states, he also highlights how Grime Town always wanted to do their own thing and not seek outside help - which is why most of their work is produced in-house.
