I've already taken the cursor back on this video 'cause I can't allow it to end. JR does it yet again, and soon enough I will actually stop saying this 'cause it goes without saying. He brought out someone he refers to as the best vocalist in SA. Wait, I think he said his most favourite vocalist in SA. I don't wanna get beat for misquoting shame.
Zano brought himself, his entire music heaven and the blessings of his ancestors to this stage. He opens up the show with covers of his faves by Jill Scott and Gnarls Barkley. The best part about the covers he does is that they are completely his own despite the fact that he renders other artists' songs. It's amazing. I'm loving this performance. I will admit, I kept secretly hoping he'd pull out Thiwe and they'd do Oceans Apart - guess we'll save that for another day. For now, our hearts are soaring.
