Frank Dollarsmile is a well-known local and Highly celebrated in Empangeni/Richards Bay – based kwaito artist his real is Frank Ngubane Frank Dollarsmile is from Empangeni, Kwa-Zulu Natal (KZN) was inspired by Big nuz back in 2005 the he started to to write his own music , but his musical journey began in Durban. While approaching various studios in an attempt to secure a recording deal, he tried various tactics to have his sound heard. These included a jingle for the popular 1KZN TV, which gave him an opportunity to perform on the shows recorded songs in 2008 with FSG and featured Dj Makokorosh who is the producer of the first song “HlalaPhezukwabo”
