Nkosinathi Samkelisiwe Zikalala, better known by his stage name MshiniSAHipHop, originates from Soweto, Emndeni. He started rapping in 2011, having been influenced by his late brother who was a hip-hop head. Between 2014 and 2016 MshiniSAHipHop dropped singles, cover songs and a mixtape titled 'After School' which propelled him into recording songs with the legendary Zulu Boy. MshiniSAHipHop went on to make a name for himself, winning countless rap battles on different radio stations. In 2017 MshiniSAHipHop won on one of South Africa's biggest rap shows called 'One Mic' and got a chance to record a song with Tweezy & DJ Sliqe at Sony STUDIOS. In 2018, MshiniSAHipHop was featured as a guest artist on 'Break De Beat' a show hosted by Fifi Cooper. Months later he got a chance to work with the late HHP 'Jabbaman' who discovered him on the internet. MshiniSAHipHop dropped an EP on his birthday, the 7th of August 2019 titled '23 Michael Jordan Wave
