Zone 6 Venue Is Shutting Down 

Zone 6 Venue’s Last Dance event, taking place on December 23, is the official shutdown party. On social media, Zone 6 confirmed that the event is intended to celebrate the legacy of the venue, stating plainly: “No reopening. No rebrand.”

The Last Dance event takes place on December 23, and the line-up is suitably dreamy, from the likes of Kent and DJ Maphorisa to Shimza, Mr JazziQ, 031CHOPPA, Kamo Mphela and Focalistic, through to Kabza De Small and The Qwellers.

Over the last 16 years, Zone 6 Venue has been a cornerstone of Johannesburg’s nightlife and cultural landscape, hosting both global megastars and emerging artists from South Africa and beyond.
