
Sticking to his roots, The Kulture crafted this introspective song around the social issues across the Cape Flats, Townships and South Africa as a whole. Without trying to come across as preachy, the track hits the right notes has an authentic feel.
The Kulture wanted to make a song that speaks to the people, but you can also bump in your car or with your homies.
The track starts with the hook introducing us to the premise of the track with The Kulture rapping over the piano intro. The beat drops and the concept is further expounded upon with The Kulture repeating “Burn it down and start again”.
Produced by WTG, The Kulture ‘s collaborative producer. The track was mixed and mastered by The Kulture himself and along with directing the visuals, he also edited the video The music video was also co-directed and filmed by Hoppie, credited for numerous great works of art in the Cape Town rap scene.
